On December 3, 1903, at Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Edward Preston, 24, laborer, born in England to unknown parents: and Eleanor Swartz [Eleanora Caroline Swantz], 21, born in Wellesley, Ontario, Canada, to Paul Swartz and Elizabeth Good.

several errors in above notes: 1) Edward married Eleanora Caroline Schwantz (sometimes spelled Swantz), her parent's names were Paul Schwantz and Elizabeth Grody; 2) child of Edward and Eleanora is Irene Preston, she had no middle name and she was only child; 3) Edward's address at death was Pape Avenue, not Pope; 4) marriage between Edward and Eleanor was 31 December 1903, not 3 December.
